PRIM Residency

Residency

By invitation

The PRIM residency is offered by invitation only by the Board of directors and its objective is to provide an artist with all the resources of PRIM for one year to produce an original work of art. With a PRIM residency, you have carte blanche!

PRIM | Codes d’accès

Residency

The PRIM | Codes d’accès residency gives a young audio artist the opportunity to produce a surround sound work for performance with Codes d’accès. Focused on mixing and mastering, the selected artist will be able to finalize his or her project in PRIM’s sound laboratory and benefit from a broadcast as part of the regular programming of Codes d’accès.

PRIM | MAI

Residency

PRIM and the MAI have partnered to offer a joint residency, a year long-term accompaniment to an artist wishing to experiment, develop their skills and create a work in the discipline of new media arts. PRIM is associated with the M.A.I (Montréal, arts Interculturels) artist support program.

PRIM | Dazibao

Residency

Dazibao and PRIM have joined forces to offer an artist an exceptional opportunity to produce and distribute a work. The selected proposal takes into account the specificities of both organizations and, as a result, must address the formal and conceptual problems innate to image-based practices while having no qualms about tackling audio, video and digital processing.
