Doc at Risk
The new Doc at Risque is attributed at À ceux qui ont le courage d’espérer by Hugo Samson .
This feature-length documentary places us in a small, modest-looking space above a Russian grocery store in Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal’s most multi-ethnic neighborhood, where a group of migrant and immigrant workers help each other achieve justice and dignity.
This program grants an 85% discount on our production and post-production equipment. Congrats Hugo!
Jury’s favorite
Douce prisonnière by Ariane Falardeau St-Amour is the new jury’s favorite !
This short documentary takes us to the Quebec village of Saint-Côme-Linière, a few kilometers from the U.S. border, where a former bread factory has been converted into a bitcoin mine. Stevie, the night watchman, begins his shift. In the middle of winter, an evening like any other sets in; Stevie keeps watch, numb to the heat of the servers.
Ariane will be able to benefit from an 85% discount on our production and post-production equipment. Congratulations !
