Doc at Risk
The Doc à Risque is Au bord de l’oubli d’ Oona Barrett et Léa Kratchanov.
This feature-length documentary project addresses the Rohingya identity and its survival after the genocide that forced more than 700,000 people from this community to flee Myanmar to neighboring Bangladesh. Seven years after exile, while instability in Myanmar reduces the possibility of return, nearly a million Rohingya remain stuck in the largest refugee camp in the world. The film shows how, even sheltered from the Burmese army, the precarious living conditions in the camp and the lack of future prospects continue to threaten this forgotten minority.
