PRIM’s team is pleased to welcome two new employees to its team: Amélie and Mélanie!
Amélie arrived in February, as a post-production assistant. She assists Sylvain in the preparation and finishing of projects, scanning orders, transfers and duplications. She also collaborates in the updating of the equipment, as well as the technical support of the users.
Amélie holds a French Master’s degree in Arts, specializing in film and audiovisual studies. Her work has always focused on Quebec cinema, to which she has devoted her academic research. An interest in the image and its language that continued throughout his master’s degree in art, research-creation, at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. Recently graduated with an AEC in editing techniques and computer graphics from the Grasset Institute, she specializes more particularly in the fields of post-production by refining her skills with the language of video editing, from its poetry to its aesthetics, through its technicalities.
Melanie arrived in May as Member Services and Communications Coordinator. It is responsible for liaising with the membership and providing support to the administration. She ensures the smooth running of the center and also coordinates the organization’s communications.
After completing her Master’s degree in Communications at UQAM, Mélanie began to apply her passion for digital communications to the Quebec independent film industry, working at Main Film. She discovered the richness of local creations and with this experience, she wishes to enrich her career with PRIM. Melanie will use all her organizational skills to serve you at PRIM and her communication skills to enhance your project.
